We offer you these suggestions, but you can choose your own route according to your free time and preferences.
These tours have been made taking into account the timetables of the monuments, but don't forget to check the information before starting the tour.
Day One
10:00 a.m.
A very special way to start the day is by visiting Los Amantes de Teruel. The Amantes complex offers you a walk through the legend, the mausoleum, the church of San Pedro and the Mudejar tower, cloister and ándito.
Later, visit the medieval Aljibes, located in the subsoil of the Plaza del Torico, which were built as a water deposit for the inhabitants.
11:30 a.m.
We will continue our tour from the Plaza del Torico, one of the most famous sites in the city, and we will continue to discover the Mudejar style of Teruel. Firstly, the tower of El Salvador, climb to the top and you will find a magnificent panoramic view of the city and you will be able to get to know a little more about the most emblematic architecture of Teruel.
Next, we head towards the Tower of San Martín, located in the Pérez Prado square. On the way, we come across the Cathedral Square, which we will visit at another time.
1.15 p.m.
We are at the foot of the tower of San Martín, we are going to descend the Cuesta de la Andaquilla and we will find the Portal de Daroca.
This slope was the last obstacle that Diego de Marcilla thought he would have to overcome to meet his beloved Isabel, but as you know, this was not the case. The route down takes us to the church and convent of the Franciscans, a unique and beautiful Gothic building.
After this walk, it is a good time to stop and have lunch, so that we can recharge our batteries to be able to face the rest of the day with renewed energy.
16:00 hours
Modernist Afternoon.
Ask for our guide to modernism in Teruel at the tourist office and discover on foot all the buildings from the early 20th century that are scattered around the city.
Strolling through the streets and looking up we will be attracted by the uniqueness and dynamism of this attractive art form. Houses, unique buildings, grilles, doorways, floral elements, animals, etc., etc., discover all these details in every modernist corner of our town planning. Teruel is part of the European Route of Modernism.
You can continue the walk to the Glorieta and cross the 1929 pedestrian viaduct that marks the enlargement of the city, and head towards the Ensanche, reaching the Torán fountain and discovering the architecture of the Primer Ensanche, you can reach the Fernando Hue park. We suggest a photograph in the Kissing Corner and, at sunset, a beautiful panoramic view of the city from the viewpoint at the back of the gardens.
At sunset, enjoy the tranquillity of the city with a stroll between two lights and take a break with a good snack of delicious tapas.
Day Two
11:00 a.m.
We will begin our tour at the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Mediavilla. In this complex we will highlight the modernist façade, the dome and, of course, the magnificent bell tower. Inside we can admire the ceiling, a jewel of the Mudejar style of Teruel.
In the Cathedral square, we find other buildings such as the Casa del Deán, whose fountain dates back to the 16th century, the Town Hall and the CPIFP Teruel School of Hotel Management and Tourism.
From the Venerable Francés de Aranda Square we can access the interior of the Cathedral; in addition we will find the Museum of Sacred Art. This museum is located in the Episcopal Palace, a 16th century building, which houses a collection of works from the medieval period, as well as pieces of great value from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. On the way out, we will come across a harmonious building, the Convent of the Sacred Heart. Walking through this area of the city, we will head towards the Fray Anselmo Polanco square.
Our next stop is the Casa de la Comunidad, an Aragonese Renaissance building, which houses the Museum of Teruel, where we can see interesting collections that will allow us to learn about the traditional culture of Teruel. Touring the interior of the building is very interesting and do not forget to go up to the Loggia, with its spectacular view of the Cathedral.
12:30 p.m.
We then head towards the part of the city where the remains of the medieval city walls can be found. On our route we will find the Torreones del Rincón and Ambeles de la Bombardera towers, as well as sections of the wall. We will reach the 16th century Aqueduct-Viaduct of the Arches and the Gateway of San Miguel or the Gateway of Betrayal. Along San Miguel street we arrive at the gate of the Teruel Wall, which is worth a visit to discover the panoramic views of the city. Also on the road is the building of the former Escuelas del Arrabal, today the Provincial Historical Archive.
After this walk, it is a good time to stop and have lunch, so that we can recharge our batteries to be able to face the rest of the day with renewed energy.

16:00 hours
We are going to head towards the archaeological site of Alto Chacón. This Celtiberian-Roman settlement is located at the westernmost end of the Muela de Teruel, about 4 km from the city. It retains a wall and the remains of rooms in its main streets.

17:00 p.m
Following a walk through the orchard of Teruel, from where we begin to make out the famous mountains of La Muela located in the Rambla de Barrachina, and now in the district of Villaspesa, we find the Iglesia del Salvador (Church of the Saviour), an example of the modernist style of Teruel.
If you still have enough energy left to finish the day, we will return to the Old Town and go to the Paseo del Óvalo, where we will enjoy a magnificent tour of the city's balcony, internationally awarded in recent years for its restoration and night-time lighting. Descend the Staircase and enjoy the surroundings and its gardens. You can easily access the Old Town by taking the lift located on one side of the Staircase.
At the end of the day, savour the tranquillity of the city in a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, and enjoy the charming establishments scattered around the capital.
Day Three
It's time to head for Dinópolis. Get ready to take a leap back in time to see what the fantastic world of the Dinosaurs was like.
