A very special way to start the day is by visiting Los Amantes de Teruel. The Amantes complex<\/b> offers you a walk through the legend, the mausoleum, the church of San Pedro and the<\/b> Mudejar tower, cloister and \u00e1ndito.\n

We will continue our tour from the Plaza del Torico<\/b>, one of the most famous sites in the city, and we will continue to discover the Mudejar style of Teruel. Firstly, the tower of El Salvador,<\/b> climb to the top and you will find a magnificent panoramic view of the city and you will be able to get to know a little more about the most emblematic architecture of Teruel.<\/b>

We are at the foot of the tower of San Mart\u00edn, we are going to descend the Cuesta de la Andaquilla and we will find the Portal de Daroca.<\/b>

\nThis slope was the last obstacle that Diego de Marcilla thought he would have to overcome to meet his beloved Isabel, but as you know, this was not the case. The route down takes us to the church and convent of the Franciscans, a unique and beautiful Gothic building.<\/b><\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

You can continue the walk to the Glorieta and cross the 1929 pedestrian viaduct<\/b> that marks the enlargement of the city, and head towards the Ensanche, reaching the Tor\u00e1n fountain and discovering the architecture of the Primer Ensanche, you can reach the Fernando Hue park. We will begin our tour at the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Mediavilla.<\/b> In this complex we will highlight the modernist fa\u00e7ade, the dome and, of course, the magnificent bell tower. Inside we can admire the ceiling, a jewel of the Mudejar style of Teruel.\n

\nIn the Cathedral square, we find other buildings such as the Casa del De\u00e1n, whose fountain dates back to the 16th century, the Town Hall<\/b> and the CPIFP Teruel School of Hotel Management and Tourism.\n

\nFrom the Venerable Franc\u00e9s de Aranda Square<\/b> we can access the interior of the Cathedral; in addition we will find the Museum of Sacred Art.<\/b> This museum is located in the Episcopal Palace, a 16th century building, which houses a collection of works from the medieval period, as well as pieces of great value from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. On the way out, we will come across a harmonious building, the Convent of the Sacred Heart.<\/b> Walking through this area of the city, we will head towards the Fray Anselmo Polanco<\/b> square.\n

\nOur next stop is the Casa de la Comunidad,<\/b> an Aragonese Renaissance building, which houses the Museum of Teruel,<\/b> where we can see interesting collections that will allow us to learn about the traditional culture of Teruel. Touring the interior of the building is very interesting and do not forget to go up to the Loggia, with its spectacular view of the Cathedral.<\/b><\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We then head towards the part of the city where the remains of the medieval city walls<\/b> can be found. On our route we will find the Torreones del Rinc\u00f3n and Ambeles de la Bombardera towers, as well as sections of the wall. We will reach the 16th century Aqueduct-Viaduct of the Arches<\/b> and the Gateway of San Miguel or the Gateway of Betrayal. Along San Miguel street we arrive at the gate of the Teruel Wall, which is worth a visit to discover the panoramic views of the city. Also on the road is the building of the former Escuelas del Arrabal, today the Provincial Historical Archive.<\/b><\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are going to head towards the archaeological site of Alto Chac\u00f3n<\/b>. This Celtiberian-Roman settlement is located at the westernmost end of the Muela de Teruel, about 4 km from the city. Following a walk through the orchard of Teruel, from where we begin to make out the famous mountains of La Muela located in the Rambla de Barrachina,<\/b> and now in the district of Villaspesa,<\/b> we find the Iglesia del Salvador (Church of the Saviour)<\/b>, an example of the modernist style of Teruel.

If you still have enough energy left to finish the day, we will return to the Old Town and go to the Paseo del \u00d3valo, where we will enjoy a magnificent tour of the city's balcony,<\/b> internationally awarded in recent years for its restoration and night-time lighting. Descend the Staircase and enjoy the surroundings and its gardens.<\/b> You can easily access the Old Town by taking the lift located on one side of the Staircase.\n<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
